The dream courses offered below comprise Northern Star’s Dreamtime program. They offer interconnected dream techniques and experiences to illuminate dream content for personal use and client-based practices.

Dream Journeying **
12 hours — Dates: January 7 & 21, 2009 3-9 p.m.

Flying With Your Night Dreamer **
35 hours — Start Date: January 25, 2009 9-5 p.m.

In our night dreams we can go anywhere and
be anyone. The wisdom of the universe awaits us, the adventures of our wild self are given expression. We will explore and experience various easily accessible dream techniques; the dream circle, dream incubation, dream portals and dream journeying. You will enter into the transformative world of the dreamtime and your ordinary life will never be the same!

The Path of the Dreamer **
66 hours — Start Date: March, 11, 2009
Instructor: Laurie Szott-Rogers

Deepen your intuition by developing the tools to understand the symbolism of your personal dream messages. Bring dream figures into dialogue and connect with mythical and archetypal energies. Also witness the dream’s ability to express the voice of nature. Techniques such as dream interpreting, dream journeying and sacred circles will be used. - A theoretical and experiential approach - Honoring the work of: Jung, Delaney, Estes, and Aizenstat.

The hours of this Wed. course vary from 3-9 p.m. to 6-9 p.m.

Goddess Courses

The Living Goddess **
132 hours — Start Date: January 28, 2009
Instructor: Laurie Szott-Rogers

Awaken your own Goddess energy! Illuminate psychological and spiritual dimensions of feminine patterns. Ground the extra-ordinary into your daily rhythm. Each class will blend mythological theory with mystical or practical technique. The essence of individual Goddesses will co-create course content. For example: the class on Artemis of the Wild will express both her love of nature and ability to get life on track. Mythology from Estes, Campbell etc. will be visited.

The hours of this Wed. course vary from 3-9 p.m. or 6-9 p.m.

The Goddess in Nature and Healing **
19 hours — Start Date: June 24, 2009 Wed. 3-9 p.m.
Instructor: Robert Rogers

This course will examine the Goddess as expressed by our natural world. It will explore healing energy embodied through various Goddess archetypes and how to use this information as a basis of empowerment and acceptance of self.

Conscious Living / Conscious Dying **
18 hours — Start Date: January 26, 2011 6-9 p.m.

There is an elephant in the room we pretend not to see and don’t want to talk about - Death. In this workshop we will explore the concepts of lucid living/dreaming/dying and death as a continuation of our journey.

Guidance of the Tarot Oracle **
175 hours — Start Date: January 24, 2009 9-5 p.m.

The tarot is an exciting mystical picture book that addresses all aspects of our journey through life and beyond. It is a wise guide that illuminates the way in exploring both one’s inner and outer worlds. Using the ancient practice of pathworking, dreaming and guided meditation you will enter into the landscape of the tarot and commune with the guides you meet there. This is an experiential course that uses a variety of techniques to unlock the symbolic mysteries of the tarot. It is appropriate for the beginner, the advanced student, as well as therapists. This course is geared towards self- exploration and private practice.

Symbolism of Nature and Plant Mythology **
40 hours — Start Date: April 22, 2009 3-9 p.m.
Instructor: Robert Rogers

Plants are dimensions of energy that heal on a variety of levels. This course will focus on utilizing plant mythology and symbolism for healing and nurturing our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual nature.

Energy Boundaries **
28 hours — Start Date: May 30, 2009 9-5 p.m.
Instructor: Jonathan Hooton

In this course we will look experientially at how we move energetically in relationship with ourselves, other people and our environment. There will be opportunities to reconnect with a deeper knowing that exists within each one of us, that connects us to each other, and to bring to consciousness beliefs and patterns that inhibit that connection.

Journey Through The Chakras - A Pathway To Freedom **
111 hours — Start Date: February 28, 2010 9-5 p.m.

We will explore the origins of the chakra system, and how it can be used as a tool for self-realization and counseling. This is an experiential course where students will learn how to clarify and release old destructive emotions and patterns through the use of self hypnosis, imagery, and sound.

Manifesting Wishes **
28 hours — Start Date: May 29, 2011 9-5 p.m.
Instructor: Skye MacLachlan

In this class you will identify some of your heart’s deepest wishes and explore how to make these wishes come true. We will explore the principles behind manifestation. We will learn how to create and utilize manifestation boards and magic wands. Come prepared to have fun!
